Don't Book CABO Cruise Excursions-DO THIS! | Exploring Cabo San Lucas Mexico Lovers Beach Lands End
Want to avoid those overcrowded and overpriced cruise excursions on a Mexican Riviera Cruise? Or a Cabo San Lucas Carnival Cruise? What to do in Cabo San Lucas? Then join us, Amber and Clint as we cruise to Cabo San Lucas and explore on our own. We will show you where to go to hire a water taxi to take you to one of the best beaches in the world, Lovers Beach/Divorce Beach. This unique beach is one of the only beaches in the world that has two seas...the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez.
We also take a tour of Lands End to see all of the rock formations and to see Los Arcos, the famous Arch of Cabo San Lucas.
Once we return to Cabo San Lucas Cruise Port at the Cabo Marina we venture further into town for an amazing lunch at Tacos Locos, a locally ran restaurant offering fresh made Mexican food. After doing a bit of shopping we then hire a Bike Taxi that gave us such an entertaining trip back to the port.
If you want to know how to enjoy a day in Cabo San Lucas without spending a ton of money, then this is the video for you. Enjoy your trip to Los Cabos!

    I just visited Big Bend for the first time in late April/early May this year! I did basically every main trail in Big Bend, including the South Rim/Emory Peak loop, and it was absolutely gorgeous! I spent so much time out on the trail that I barely made it back before it got dark, somewhat similar to you haha. I did wonder about potentially doing a route like this once I saw Oak Springs trail on my Window Trail hike. So cool to see you do it! It's actually a similar distance and elevation gain as a hike back home here in SoCal; Topatopa via Sisar Road and Red Reef Trail if you're interested! Thanks for a great video! It was fun to relive a bit of my trip memories through it :)

    We just got back from hiking this and OMG. The gnarliest trail but most incredible journey! My tips: hybrid sneaker/water shoes. I found some on amazon that were great! Water crossings suck. I was on all fours and struggled a bit. Might've been easier with some hiking poles. Bring a ton of H20 and electrolyte packets! More than you think you need. Lots of snacks/pack a lunch. Mosquito repellent. We got a little munched on even with it on and reapplied. Overall, wild and beautiful. Took us a little over 6 hours including time at the falls. Totally worth it!

      @TheNotLostNomad 16 днів тому

      Yes, I hated to hear about that. This was our 3rd trip here. I remember seeing it on the news. Don’t let that deter you from coming here though. They do not snorkel out in the area where the attack took place…in fact there are no tour companies that go out there anymore. It happened by one of the smaller islands just north east of Rose Island. Today they only snorkel on the south side and have never seen any shark activity there. Also, they have everyone wear these bracelets that emit a signal that’s used as a shark deterrent. The company has done a good job making this as safe as possible.

    Another excellent video! This seems relatively flat and would be something more suited to my backpacking now! Haha. People in their 70's (or older) who backpack the AT seem superhuman to me now. LOL on the umbrella while hiking. Ounces = pounds so I never carried one. Maybe I should have! I loved this, and thanks for a view into an area few, if any, of us have ever been to.

    • @TheNotLostNomad
      @TheNotLostNomad 16 днів тому

      Thank you! Yeah this one is definitely flat but much more spread out. I covered over 42 miles on this trip. A new record for me! This island is popular among older backpackers do the very reason you mentioned. It’s a great destination. And the umbrella! That thing is a game changer. It weighs next to nothing…it’s strong, and honestly it keeps you dryer than a rain jacket. Plus it keeps my camera dry while I’m shooting in the rain.

      @dannylgriffin 5 днів тому

      @@TheNotLostNomad I guess I lived by the motto, "no rain, no Maine" although I wasn't a thru hiker, just a section hiker for decades. In the old days we just accepted that rain was a part of backpacking, just like it is motorcycling (which I also do, or at least did until I sold my last bike last year). Sometimes it happens. But I am not averse to new ideas! Btw, on a subsequent rewatch of this I noticed that they have potable water faucets along the trail! What wizardry is this? I always had to hike a quarter mile off the trail to find a spring or creek or something!

    If you don't mind me asking, how did you access the point you guys did? Or which entrance?

      So you can use your map app on your phone for directions to hideaways beach. It’s on the northern end of the Princeville area…on the road that takes you to the resort. When we were there…we accessed it by a small parking lot that held maybe 8-9 cars. Then just as the video shows you will follow the path past the fences and then down the steep stairs/trail. Technically speaking it’s closed…but it’s only for liability reasons…the owners label it as closed to avoid any issue of someone getting hurt. A local highly recommended it. Hope this helps!

    Are dogs prohibited from this hike?

      You know I’m not exactly sure…but my guess would be that dogs would not be allowed. I never saw one.

      There is one part where the trail shrinks a tiny bit and is really windy but it’s nothing too bad. My 10 year old brother did it no problem.

      Sorry for the late response…yeah this trail gets a real in a few spots but nothing too scary. As long as you pay attention to not getting too close to the edges you should be fine.

      Just in a few spots…the trail gets narrow close to some drop offs but nothing too scary. Just be careful in those spots and you’ll be fine!
